Faster Sliced File Saving Time (Up to 4 Times). Saving Your Time
Life is too short to wait. In CHITUBOX Pro V1.4.0, you can save the sliced files up to four times faster. You can easily see the improvement, especially when you slice a delicate model for a 12K printer. The improved algorithm has guaranteed faster saving while retaining the details of the images.
This update further exploits the performance of CHITUBOX Pro and adopts a new strategy to allocate system sources in the computer. Compared with the previous version, this update reduces up to 80% of the computer’s memory usage, ensuring a smoother slicing experience.
Reinforced Supports
- More Stable
It is vital to have stable supports when you print the models at a fast speed. This update introduces two new reinforcement modes for supports: Triangular Reinforcement(TR) and General Reinforcement(GR).
Triangular Reinforcement(TR)
In TR mode, CHITUBOX Pro will connect three separate support in close proximity to form a triangular structure. As a triangle is steady, these reinforced supports will be more stable to withstand the pulling force generated in printing.
Global Reinforcement Mode(GR Mode)
This update allows you to reinforce the supports of the models more comprehensively. In the GR mode, the supports in a triangular structure spread to reach other supports to form an intersecting structure. When you print the models quickly, you can choose the GR mode to minimize the print failure caused by supports.

12K high-resolution printers restore the slightest details of the print files. They are now popular choices for users who have a predilection for details. Hence, we upgraded CHITUBOX Pro to make it better compatible with the new 12K hi-res printers. CHITUBOX Pro V1.4.0 has made particular enhancements for Anycubic Photon Mono M5s、Anycubic Photon Mono M5、ELEGOO SATURN 3, and ELEGOO Saturn 3 Ultra. Print with more Accuracy
Non-Penetration Mode
This update adds non-penetration mode and restores parameter B, which sets the wall thickness. You can also dig a hole in the model without specifying the parameter B and customize the depth of the hole.
Auto-Scaling Supports
In CHITUBOX Pro 1.4.0, supports automatically adjust the height when you change the distance between the model and the platform. It’s a considerate feature to improve the efficiency when you edit the supports.
